This is a slide deck entitled “Major Advancement of Community Credit Cooperatives” that was produced by the Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives in 1978.

This slide deck conveys the significance operating principles eight guiding principles self-operating sub-organizations work regulations effectiveness success stories and growth trends of community credit cooperatives at the time. The means of making capital contributions proposed in the slide deck are: saving rice collecting recyclable waste quitting smoking and drinking alcohol reducing transportation expenses reducing haircuts at barbershops and beauty shops and making individual donations (turn-based). Also capital contribution through the simplification of family rites securing of funds from group work donations at monthly meetings profits of village stores donations from fixed incomes and commercial transactions donations from management and hard work were proposed. The objectives of community credit cooperatives were to improve their members’ lives promote community development and supply industrial funds. The success factors for becoming an excellent community credit cooperative were dedicated leaders diversified investors rational asset management monthly meetings and continuing education.
